The Italian-based multinational joins with Supernal in a revolutionary advanced air mobility project.
The Partnership between UMBRAGROUP and Supernal was announced this morning, during the 54th Paris Le Bourget Air Show. UMBRAGROUP is the World leader in the production of ball screws in the aeronautical sector and one of the main players in the aerospace and defense sector. Supernal is linked to Advanced Air Mobility as part of the Korean Group Hyundai Motor Company.
Supernal is developing a new electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle, which will revolutionize the concept of sustainable mobility, aiming for a real technological revolution over the next few years, which will also include UMBRAGROUP.
This is a new challenge for UMBRAGROUP in developing, designing, and producing its complex electromechanical actuators with light and safe architecture, and further, to support the customer throughout the qualification and certification process. These electromechanical actuators will increase the performance of the systems on which they are fitted and contribute to a significant reduction in environmental impact.
The partnership was officially announced today at the Umbria Aerospace Cluster exhibit, of which UMBRAGROUP is a part. The long-term strategy shared by the two companies is to work with the right partners, at the right time, anywhere in the world, taking advantage of the newest and most advanced technologies in the sector.
