An event at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitation will focus on skilled trades in our region. The Skilled Trades in the Great Lakes Bay Region event runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Midland Country Club Ballroom.

This event aims to bring together students who are interested in pursuing a career in various skilled trades fields, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, HVAC, pipe fitting, and more. This event will provide high school students with a unique opportunity to interact with industry professionals, gain insights into different trades, and explore potential career paths. High school sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as their parents, are encouraged to attend.

Please note, there is no parking at the Midland Country Club. Participants must park at Dow Diamond and be shuttled to the country club. Parking at Dow Diamond is free. Admission to the tournament and lunch vouchers will be provided to those attending the Skilled Trades in the GLBR event.
