The Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum at Saginaw Valley State University will host its 20th annual “Saints & Sinners” Platinum Gala on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The Saints & Sinners Gala has become a hallmark of the Museum's fundraising efforts, playing an essential role in supporting its special exhibitions, events, and educational initiatives. The Museum, open to public and free to the public year-round relies on events such as this gala to continue to provide such services to the Great Lakes Bay Region.
This year’s gala marks a significant milestone in the Museum's history, reflecting two decades of fundraising efforts and community engagement. “The 20th Annual Saints & Sinners Gala is not just a celebration of our Museum’s history but also a testament to the unwavering support of our community,” said Megan McAdow, Director of the Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum. “We are excited to commemorate this milestone and look forward to another unforgettable evening that will further our mission of inspiring and educating through the arts.”
Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet dinner, and live entertainment by the Midland-based group “Empty Canvas.” The event will also include silent and live art auctions showcasing unique art pieces donated by regional artists and engaging experiences.
