The Home Builders Association of Great Lakes Bay Region (HBA GLBR) is excited to announce the oUicial groundbreaking of its new headquarters and Resource Center, located at 932 W. Fisher Road, Auburn, MI 48611. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 16 at 3:00 PM, and the community is warmly invited to attend.
This groundbreaking marks a major milestone not only for the Association’s growth, but also for the region’s homebuilding industry. The HBA GLBR was formed through the recent merger of the Home Builders Associations of Midland and Saginaw, creating a unified voice and stronger presence for the residential construction industry across the Great Lakes Bay Region. “This is more than just the start of a new building, it’s the next chapter in a united eUort to support, educate, and advocate for our members and communities,” said Chris Page, CEO of the HBA GLBR. “We invite the community to join us on July 16 to celebrate the future we’re building together.”
The new facility will feature modern oUices for HBA operations as well as multipurpose resource center designed for educational programming, member meetings, and public engagement. It will be built primarily with donated supplies and labor from HBA members and community members, highlighting the generosity and craftsmanship that defines the local building industry. As the structure rises, the HBA GLBR encourages members, partners, and the public to “watch us build up”—a symbol of both physical construction and the growth of the industry across the Great Lakes Bay Region.
