Saginaw County Emergency Management is asking residents who experienced flooding in their homes during the heavy rains on March 10 and March 11, 2026, to report the damage so officials can better understand the extent of the impact across the county.
County officials are currently working with local municipalities and response partners to develop a clearer picture of how many homes were affected by the recent rainfall and flooding. Residents whose homes experienced flooding are encouraged to report the damage by contacting 211 or completing the online self-assessment damage survey at the link included with this release.
Information collected through these reports will help Saginaw County Emergency Management develop a more complete understanding of the scope and severity of flooding impacts throughout the county.
In addition to helping document damages, the information may also assist officials in connecting residents with unmet needs to organizations that can help.
Residents should note that submitting a damage report is primarily intended to help officials gather information about the event and identify community needs. Reporting damage does not guarantee assistance.
Saginaw County Emergency Management encourages residents who experienced flooding to submit their information as soon as possible to help ensure the most accurate assessment of impacts from this event.
