On Tuesday, May 15, Impact Saginaw Area Credit Unions sponsored a trip to see a Great Lakes Loons game for approximately 290 local kids during School Kids Day at Dow Diamond.

Students and their chaperones from Merrill Park, Stone, Jessie Loomis, Herig, Chester Miller and Arthur Eddy Elementary schools experienced a thrilling baseball game between the Great Lakes Loons and Bowling Green Hot Rods. For many students in attendance, this was their first trip to Dow Diamond to see a game. They were treated to 3 home runs by the Loons, who won the game 10-5. The kids also enjoyed a complementary lunch at the park and received an Impact Saginaw School Kids Day t-shirt. First Student generously donated the transportation of the students to/from the park for the event.
